If you like pizza, and you like Chili, this is a recipe that you’ll definitely love! Classic no bean Chili recipe, and step by step instructions how to use that in pizza form. Recipe Below.
1 pound of ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 chopped poblano pepper
1 can of tomato puree (16 oz)
¼ cup of tomato paste
1 clove of garlic roughly chopped
1 tablespoon of cumin, garlic powder and cayenne pepper
2 cups of Mexican blended cheese
2 jalapeno peppers thinly sliced
1 cup of sour cream
Pre made pizza dough
For the Chili
Add the ground beef to a medium high pan and cook the beef until it has all browned and there are no leftover pink pieces.
Add the onions and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Add the peppers and the garlic and continue to cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the vegetables have softened.
Add the tomato paste and stir until all the tomato paste has incorporated with the beef mixture.
Add the tomato puree and stir. Fill half the can up with water and add to the mixture. Bring to a simmer. Once simmering, add the cumin, paprika and garlic powder and simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
For the pizza
Roll out the pizza dough until it is ¼ inch thick. Add the Chili on the dough leaving about ½ inch border around the whole pie.
Add the cheese to the top of the Chili followed by an even layer of jalapeno peppers. Bake the pizza for about 15 minutes.
Take the pizza out and add an even layer of sour cream on top.
